Episode Notes
Recap:
- The body goes through 6 changes: Asti (existence), Jayate (inner to outer world), Vardhate (growth), Vipareenamate (maturity), Apaksheeyate (disease and decay), Vinashyati (death).
- When we ignore these changes, we fear them. When we reflect on these changes, we adapt.
- When we live by dependence (having a reason for happiness), we become addicted, attached and apathetic.
How to practice Anudarshana (Reflectiveness) and Asakti (Independence)?
- Reflect: Relationships are created in time and change. When we appreciate this, we become less attached and nurture appreciation in others.
- Practice Sadhana: When we invest in ourselves, then we can live in a dharmic way oriented towards “rightness” without being emotional.
